Mission Log: A Roddenberry Star Trek Podcast

The Skreeans are escaping oppression in the Gamma Quadrant and find themselves at DS9. If only they could settle on Bajor and get back to farming, just like their sacred texts have told them. Bajor isn't ready for that many guests, though, not so soon after the Cardassian occupation. So where can three million immigrants go? And couldn't they all just learn to get along? Sanctuary goes into the Mission Log.

She comes from a low-gravity planet which means she's got some physical disadvantages in the space station's environment, but everyone there is glad to help her out. Except Melora doesn't want their help. In fact, she's rather dismissive of everyone until a certain Doctor tries to break through her barriers and possibly treat her disability. Plain, simple Garak is back, though there is nothing plain nor simple about the young Cardassian he’s spotted on DS9. The kid’s name is Rugal and he was raised on Bajor, as a Bajoran. Things get even less simple when Gul Dukat gets involved. And all pretense of simplicity gets shot out of an airlock when Rugal’s biological father turns out to be a high ranking politician on Cardassia. Will Rugal get to go home with his father? Or will he have to go home with his other father? And will this be the episode where Miles O’Brien finally stops hating all Cardassians just because they’re Cardassian? Captain Picard is moving back and forth through time. That’s the quickest way to get to the beginning. It is seven-years ago, and mankind is being put on trial by Q - not again, but still. Once again, Picard has to save humanity. But this will be trickier than any time before, since Q says it is Picard that will destroy humanity. We are going to miss them, but All Good Things is headed into the Mission Log.
